Our Products

Kanpo Pro formulas are all highly concentrated extracts varying in strength up to 15:1. What this means is that each gram of powdered extract in our capsules represents up to 15 grams of dried herbal material. In this way we minimize the number of capsules you need to consume. Also the extracts are generally considered easier on the digestion and more bioavailable.

The Kanpo “Pro” products in our line are unmodified and offered here in the traditional manner just as they are in Japan. The herbs are brewed together in water in a modern factory by scientists trained in the art of herbal production.

The Kanpo “Plus” products use key traditional Kanpo formulas as a starting point and modify them slightly to suit the unique needs of the North American public. In some cases Kanpo Plus formulas are actually two traditional Kanpo formulas combined. This is in keeping with the practice of Kanpo in Japan where often two formulas are given to address certain health concerns.
